Welcome and Hello, Hello and Welcome

Welcome and Hello!

I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Ruth, and I am the owner of Three Irish Sisters.

If you have not already seen, on my website, the name Three Irish Sisters is an homage to my grandmother and her two sisters. I am a strong believer in things happening for a reason. When I decided to design my logo, I knew I wanted something simple and sleek. So naturally, I chose a shamrock. When texting friends and family I have shortened Three Irish Sisters to TIS. Because why take the time to type it all out, right? One evening, I realized that all of this was cohesive, or in the words of my visual communications teacher, it had "general gestalt'. The three leaves of the shamrock are symbolic to the Christian Holy Trinity. I am catholic. The business name is representative of three women, who in my mind, were of a holy or royal nature. The Irish term “Tis Herself” is an affectionate expression in both the Irish and Scottish language, denoting a woman of importance, usually the lady of the house. As much as I would love to say that I had planned all of this, I have to say it all just kind of fell in my lap. Everything truly does happen for a reason.

Thank you for your read! And expect more from me on a more consistent basis.
